THE ENDURING PROBLEM

I. The Problem

The relation of these two autorities [Christ & Culture] constitutes its problem.
Christian believers have found it difficult to combine Christ's claims on them with those of their society. There is a problem of relating these two authorities. There are many vaired Christian responses to culture so no one answer but some typical answers that are not always the same as Christ's answer. Yet belief that God is answering the question through His wisdom that transcends yet uses their parital insights and conflicts.
